About Dr. Schultz
Kevin J. Schultz, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologist who specializes in general gynecology and obstetrics at Coeur OBGYN. He brings more than ten years of experience to the community of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Dr. Schultz has extensive training and experience with minimally invasive surgeries, including hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic assisted procedures for abnormal bleeding, uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. He also has specialized training in minimally invasive procedures that improve vaginal health and menopausal symptoms.
Dr. Schultz is known for having a warm personality that puts patients at ease during appointments and treatments. He is committed to providing exceptional obstetric care, and he understands from personal experience the emotional challenges that come with the risks that can occur during pregnancy. Dr. Schultz provides care to women at all stages of life, and he strives to address the root cause of medical conditions in order to restore women’s quality of life through holistic care.
A native of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Dr. Schultz headed to California to study medicine. He graduated from Loma Linda University and completed his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.
Following his residency, Dr. Schultz practiced at Kaiser Permanente in Riverside, California, before returning to his hometown to join the team at Coeur OBGYN in 2014. Dr. Schultz is married with two wonderful boys, a beautiful girl and an energetic chocolate Labrador. He enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his family.
